Personally, the Alhambra is a place that I had never heard about.  When someone said it was a Moorish Palace that still meant nothing to me. Having been there now, I would say this was our FAVORITE place of the whole trip.  It has to be seen to be believed... the ornate plasters, the gardens, the arches and the water features. It was a day we will never forget.

Granada was a small town and it's hard to imagine something so magnificant is there.  We stayed at the Hotel Anacapri which was pleasant and most convenient to everything you needed.  We took advantage of having the hotel do our laundry and it was so convenient and extremely reasonable.  

 

Another highlight trip today was when Ruthie and I jumped at the chance to go to the Hammam and we felt like Princesses.  The Hammam Granada is a Bath house that looks just like the Alhambra.  We soaked, steamed, got a massage and slept like babies that night.
